Back in July of 2013, Paul and I had this discussion:
Paul: I wonder if there is a difference in the way the “ugh” is spelled… maybe that indicates different emotions?
Ryan: Good question.
Ryan: “Ugh” implies disgust.
Ryan: Uuuuugggghhhh implies frustration.
Ryan: Huuuuugggghhh implies something large.
Paul: Yes!
Paul: I think you’ve nailed it. I think that can be your 2015 Ping.
Ryan: Noted.
Paul: futureme it.
Ryan: Will have to wait for 2017.
So, after a long wait, here it is.
It should be noted that I stand by everything I said in our original discussion, but I’d like to add that “Huuuuugggghhh” could also be a zombie’s way of discussing his favorite actor from 90’s rom-coms. There’s also room for a dated reference to Master P.
